 Neocision Elite 750 LED Grow Lights Designed

For Increased Coverage

Our Neocision Elite 750 light has an increased photosynthetic photon efficacy (PPE} and photosynthetic photon flux (PPF) to maximize yields when using this free-hanging light above either roll top or V-track benches. With the total PPF increased by an additional 10% compared to our Neocision Elite 680 rack lights, the Elite 750 can provide enhanced uniformity across your plant canopy as needed. Canopy penetration is also increased when you are growing taller strains, making the Neocision Elite 750 the right choice for installation above single tier benches.

Bench lengths and widths vary in comparison to racks that have standard four-foot increments in both width and length. The variable canopy square footage created by using benches creates a need for increased light intensity. Our Neocision Elite 750 meets that challenge and can create an average photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD} of 1356 at 24 inches above the canopy.

With the Neocision Elite 750, growers are not as limited in plant height which occurs in vertical cultivation. When growing on benches under the Neocision Elite 750, our added PPF increases canopy penetration for added dry weight yield per square foot of canopy.

The Neocision Elite spectrum is maximized based upon the science of lighting – not the myths and marketing hype that abound throughout the lighting industry. Per Bruce Bugee of Utah State University, having 20% of the total spectrum in the blue range leads to optimal quality for plant growth and development. The overall spectrum is then 'spiked' by using more 660nm diodes per watt than other leading manufacturers for increased energy and photosynthetic activity in your plants. These diodes cost more than other diodes and other manufacturers minimize their use due to cost.


LED Grow Light Design

As part of our Neocision LED grow light offering, we offer free lighting layouts for any grow area with more than 500 square feet of plant canopy. Lighting lay-outs are created using ElumTools, a software product built by Lighting Analysts that has a specific mode for horticulture, and is fully integrated with Autodesk Revit for architectural floor plans.

ElumTools supports a separate and specific mode for horticultural lighting calculations. When the software is set in Horticulture Mode, luminaires and fixtures can be assigned output in terms of PPF (Photosynthetic Photon Flux in µmol/s, typically provided by the luminaire manufacturer), or by PPF Factor (µmol/s/kilolumen) which can be computed from the spectral power distribution of the light source. All point-by-point calculations will then be expressed in terms of PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density, µmol/(s.m2)), which measures the amount of PAR light reaching the plants at the top of the canopy.

All lighting layouts, once fixtures are ordered, can then be provided in CAD to your electrician and / or electrical engineer to reduce costly redundant work.
